Product character
Vat Orange 7 is an orange-red powder. It is insoluble in acetone, ethanol, chloroform, and toluene, and slightly soluble in pyridine and o-chlorophenol. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it shows a dark red light yellow color; in alkaline photographic developer solution, it appears olive green (with red fluorescence); and in acidic solution, it shows a red light brown color.
Application
Used for polyester/cotton blended fabric two bath dyeing of polyester with little color. The leuco used for dyeing cotton knitwear. and so on.
