Product Description
Acid Black ATT is a dark brown powder. It is soluble in water, and the aqueous solution is blue-black. Adding concentrated hydrochloric acid produces a green-blue precipitate; adding sodium hydroxide solution produces a blue precipitate. It is soluble in ethanol and blue, slightly soluble in acetone, and insoluble in other organic solvents. It is blue-green in concentrated sulfuric acid and produces a dark green-blue precipitate after dilution; it is a dark green solution in concentrated nitric acid and then turns to maroon; it produces a blue precipitate in 10% sodium hydroxide solution. When dyeing, the color changes slightly when encountering copper ions; the color is slightly light green when encountering iron ions.
Product character
A. Main uses of Acid Black ATT: staining of proteins on polyacrylamide gels, agarose gels and nitrocellulose membranes. After electrophoresis, it is recommended to fix the proteins on the gel. The gel is stained with 0.1% Chemicalbook Amino Black 10B in 7% (v/v) acetic acid solution for at least 2 hours, and then decolorized with 7% (v/v) acetic acid solution. The detection sensitivity is about 20% of Coomassie Brilliant Blue R250.
B. Mainly used for dyeing wool, silk and nylon, and can also be used for leather, paper, ink, etc. It generally has no coloring power on cellulose fibers.
C.Its characteristics are good water solubility, bright color, complete color spectrum, simpler molecular structure than other dyes, lack of longer conjugated system in the dye molecule, and lower directness of the dye.

(2)Dyeing Procedure
Acid Black ATT must be stored in shade, dry & well-ventilated warehouse. Avoid to be contacted with oxidizing chemicals and combustible organic substances. Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat, sparks and open flames. Carefully handle the product and avoid damaging the package.
